Nope. Can't be bothered just yet. I may turn the idle mixture screws in 1/4 turn (currently set to 2 1/2 out), but that's it. I want everything to settle down. Flies along - 70 easily - third gear up hills, runs nice and cool...what more could you want ?

Hi just reading this thread. On my dells when I stick on the airflow meter it's sucking air in at a rate of knots About 8 on the meter is this ok? they are all balanced i did have a bit of an air leak off of the air takeoff from the mainfold but thats sorted now. thanks
What’s the idle revs? If it’s pulling a lot of air either the revs are high or the engine has load on it. Is the A/C switched off?
^this. Idle needs to be 850 - 900. The absolute number on the gauge doesn't really mean anything, as long as all cylinders are sucking the same.
Since my thread has been resurrected anyway......been running fine since I fitted, rich but ok. Probably averaging about 17 mpg. How3ver, this week that’s just dropped considerably all of a sudden. Can’t find any leaks anywhere. Is there anything with these that could cause a sudden drop in mpg?
