  1. It gets better. Just found out that price is per piece. So close to £300 for a pair.

  2. i paid about 120 quid for both cards and front kick panels total. zee crazee dutch are havin a laff

  3. I've got the abs kick panels and wouldn't mind the cab door panels
But at that price they can go swivel

  4. It's the Dutch company ramping the price up, they re actually really cheap direct from werksberg but its whether or not he will ship to someone in the UK. He may now that he hasn't got a UK distributor

  5. I know. But you can buy 3 or 4 sets for the same price as the ABS ones... Not everything has to last forever...

  6. You could get a holiday for that money.

  7. Yep. Maybe I'll just keep the horrible old ones. :)

  8. I could get a lifetime all inclusive pass to Mauritius for the amount I've spent on my bus :D

  9. Keep the old ones, you know they fit, and just cover them in some vinyl film or something, or paint them up.

It doesn't make sense to pay a lot of money for door cards, for that money you could do your brakes or something. That would be money well spent.

  10. I wanted a set of the abs ones because they tie in well with the rugged theme of the paravan and match in with the kick panels I already have
Last time I looked they were around £60 a pair posted which was ok for something that would take abuse and last
At the time I had other things of a higher priority I had to spend the money on
I wouldn't pay the new expensive price for them though
I bet it would be cheaper to buy a sheet of abs and cut them out myself

  11. I hear ye...

Might be worth asking SJH - they list some cards on eBay, I'm sure they could do custom stuff.

For the time being I've got some old rags down out of the loft and considering an upcycling project.... also some pretty awesome vinyl in my local hardware shop - the stuff used as tablecloths in cheap cafes...

  12. Good news - the Dutch distributor of the ABS door cards emailed me today, he'd made a mistake and the prices quoted were for a pair, not each, so a bit more reasonable - see below.

I've already ordered some plywood cards from S&D panels... so have to see how I go with those.

  13. Cheers for letting us know but unless they drop even further in price I'll use something else

  14. Cheap door cards are best. Unless you keep the water away from them, they will spoil anyway so why spend big money on them. I like the idea of plastic or plywood ones though.

  15. tis a little confusing, though in the sellers question he states he does ship to the UK and allows the selection in posage and packaging, calculating both postatge and import duty for the UK.

  16. Jeez, for £90 a pair you can get the proper og style ones off jk which I was told were recommended to me by a man in the know here!
Plus couple of pound for plastic membrane
