We are naughty , the poor man is probably beavering away right now in the dark down his shed sweating , cursing and oblivious to our baiting NOT !
ha ha, did i or didn't i? so this morning i was mostly here! got a bit of tidying up done, and removed the bodged(by me!) wheel arch then went on to check out the tub which needs a fair bit of work, and the chassis in the wheel arch took off all the tar like underseal and found more crap repairs. i think that this side of the chassis must have been stored under water, its all knackered. so tomorrows job is to carry on cutting out the chassis and tub all ready for nice new steel to go back in! i'm not setting a date for completion any more, it will be done when its done lol roll on tomorrow
ha ha, cheers guys! so i managed another couple of hours tonight after work and cut out some more rot ready for the new steel i ordered last night. more chassis repairs, looks like one of the po's had repaired bits, some better than others. i've removed the worst of it, and am going to strip off all the underseal over the other repairs to make sure they're ok then i attacked the tub, this also had repairs by the po which i cut out, and also a few i'd made when i first started this resto which i'm cutting out and redoing. hopefully be able to put a bit more steel back on tomorrow!
cheers for the encouragement guys! so got a little bit done today, just got a bit welded onto the tub, hopefully get a full day on it next week instead of bits here and there!
Come on dog i think both our restos are the slowest on here lol, keep it up fella, those PO repairs look a bit scary on the chassis
