that's the plan buddy. It'll be in the new year though. My restorer used some red oxide that absolutely nothing sticks too lol

 

Fitted my new stereo and sub in the bus yesterday. Got the front floor and tubs stripped and epoxy masticked. A lick of paint. Carpet then seats back in. Hopefully have a little bit of time on it this week. New fuel sender. Gear linkage and stick to fit and the roof light cap to go on too. Loving driving it about!!!

That's nice, it'll give the missus something to hoover once she's done the dusting.

 

He should fit a cooker sharpish so she can knock up dinner while she's there.......

 

Bus has just gone off to the menders to have a new engine and exhaust fitted. Proper excited

 

What was up with the old engine?

 

Had been sat full of water for 10 years. It ran(just) but was never going to be reliable. Stuck twin carbs on it to keep it going for a while, but it’s slowly gone down hill. I only expected to get a few miles out of it, so I was chuffed for it to last this long so I could save some pennies for a new one!

Great stuff

 

Did a bit to the bodywork today. Pulled off the loose filler and sanded back to bare metal. Keyed it all up and primed it. Small progress, but it’s progress!
