Dogs really slow resto!

Have you done anything recently on it dog?

 

Nope!
Hoping to get some done to it before it goes to the fixers in may. Ideally I'd like to have the drivers side finished before it goes

Got the bus out of the shed on Thursday
Drove it down the road to it's temporary home. It's being done proper like now. 10 years of ownership so I thought I'd better get a wriggle on lol

Ran into my buddy's kubelwagen too

 

How long till on the road

 

Bodywork finished end of July. Then needs rough paint. Glass in. And all the rest. So about 10 more years lols

 

Spent shed loads on more panels. Popped over to see it a couple of times. Slow progress while he's waiting for bits to arrive and finishing off other jobs, but it's progress lol. Told him he's got 1 year to get it mot'd

So. Mr dubdoktor has been a busy boy.
He's put some new jobbies in

And half a floor

Yay!

 

New inner tub fitted. Rear arch, sills, outriggers, and middle section done. Bit of Fettling to the c post too

 

Both rear corners have been tacked on. Engine lid hinge doofers all fixed and welded up. Would post pics but I'm terrified photobucket will assassinate me

 

Have to change the name of the thread to - Dogs speedier than before resto.

 

Got a feeling him and para will finish the day before petrol engines are banned

Floor in. Ns sills, arch and tub done. Engine bay done. New engine lid test fitted. Welding is nearly finished! Never thought I'd say that
