Dogs in vans

    Unfortunately common sense is not very common.
     
  2. I guess it depends on if you want a dead dog or not. My labrador was sitting in my passenger seat. I was only driving at about 15mph when I had to whack the breaks on as someone cut me up. He shot forward off the seat and smacked his head on the dashboard. Luckily he was fine, just got up out of the footwell and curled up on the seat again. But it could of been worse even at low speed. The dog might not hit you on the back of the head but even at low speed could break a leg or tail etc. It certainly made me think.

    Ours just sleeps in the walkthrough with his harness either hooked over or plugged into the passenger seatbelt.
     
  5. Top top. Don’t think your trusty collie will enjoy travelling over the engine compartment. First turn of the key, our hound leapt clear over the back seat and wedged herself under the pedals...
