Do your kids have phones

what age ?
I tried to diswade my granddaughter when she was 10 pah she was onit like a shot, even using the school IT wizz kid to alter settings I just told her when she gets older ? N has a boyfriend to tell him to text you in Chinese so ya mother can’t read it also to be aware that some cars can’t stop so make sure your looking up when you reach the curb. Betty’s grandson has just reached 10 and good? Old ! Gran has given him her old I phone . I tried to tell her ,he won’t need to ask for money now .
What’s your advice n views ?

 

They all have and use them, what's the harm, bit weird not having one I guess these days, like people with no TV's in my day.

 

Golly you had a tv way back then really cong . Yeh but you don’t have kids so why worry

 

my 8 year old nephew got an ipod for christmas. he can text and make calls from it but only if he has internet access - i guess that means his use can be monitored?

it's lovely as he's been texting me some lovely messages ... but mostly poop emoji's

 

I never worry about anything anyway
My sister has three children and although the youngest (7) doesn't have a phone yet the other two did at ages 11 onwards and have had no issues.

Our two had them at 11 when they went to high school, the youngest is on a contract that cant go above limits so no big bills, he's nearly 14 and is asking for a better phone ! ive told him there's nothing wrong with the nokia he's got

 

Very true I have one of those , it doesn’t ring as much these days and the screen is the new opaque type but if I lose it I’m guaranteed to get it back or it will self destruct after a day
