Do you have a Firetec Engine bay Extinguisher? Cool Air are stockists

  1. What about the bundles? I've been meaning to get a CO2 detector and an extinguisher in the front as well as the rear wouldn't be a bad idea either.

  2. If folks are ready for another group buy, add your names to the list, and we can see if we can make the 15 for a nice discount!

  3. if you go in on this group buy and buy the carbon monoxide and hand held extinguisher seperately (£20 each) you will save £10 on the bundle kit

  4. I would be interested - where would they be delivered? Is it the foam firetec?

  5. You can't put a price on safety obviously, but why are they so expensive?

Just a pressurised CO2 cyclinder, attached to pressurised piping around the engine bay surely

  6. I got 2 fire extinguishers in my engine Bay including a Firetec, you can't be too careful. Change your breather & fuel lines every two years weather you need to or not. Only buy good quality pipe never cheap rubbish. :)

  7. What sort of radioman are you?

  8. Radio controlled six million dollar man. :)

Only kidding I used to have a business selling car radios but sold up to a competitor in 2006. :)

  9. I see, thought you might be ex-Royal Signals, or dare I say it, an ex-CBer, ha.

Mind you with the bionic right arm you could give the finger so much quicker than anyone else...

  10. Lol your right enough. :)

  11. Are any folks still in the market for a firetec prior to the new season, i have added those that said they were in, delete if you are now sorted please.

  14. I'm up for that, been thinking of buying one anyway

  15. I would be interested in being part of the group purchase too.

Can you confirm the price and whether it's for the bundle with the extinguisher and CO alarm as well or just the Firetec system?

    Many thank yous!

  16. Out of interest how does the postage side of things work

  17. Hi, from the information i have from the last group buy, the cheapest way to order is to get all the orders to one location, and distribute between ourselves.

As for the cost, once we have a good number, we should be able to bargain for a best price per unit. I understand they offer a discount on the basic unit, which ever you choose, and then the pipe protector and other accessories will then be a set price, so the discount is even across the order!!

The start price is £189 for the firetec, without the pipe protector, so a bulk order will be better than that!! 5 orders brings things down to £150, 15 units.........lets find out!!

If someone is close to the supplier, not sure where they are, then we may even be able to collect and save there too.

At the moment we just need numbers, so please add your names!!
