What year van is it Ermentrude as in 78/79 they had a sundowner that had 2 seets that flipped either way? there really rare.
mines 73. it still had the cooker that went at the side of a 3/4 bed (no bed though) when i rescued him. it also had the original curtains, all intact bar one - i binned them because of the smell, never thought that someone may want them. oops.
Very nice..don't see many late sundowners on here.. As LC says, get a proper thread up hibiscrub, with more pics please
Oh go on then... 79 Devon Sundowner, bit scruffy, but fit for purpose and pretty much original... apart from the wheels, T25 seats and slightly modified rear seating Original rear revolving bench seat and curtains are now in my loft Made a buddy type seat and stool so could walk thro Got some matching material Stool doubles as cooler box ... if anyone has an original cooler box...
Nice to see a thread about non-Westy's! Our Hattie is a Eurovette. Ermintrude - with only a couple of original bits in ours, I looked through the different brochures to work out what ours was: http://thelatebay.com/index.php?forums/brochures/ Have you tried that?
Cheers hibiscrub ,love the original interior ,and what youve done with the buddy seats so you can walk through and keet it original ,never seen the sun downder before
Looks fantastic and I prefer the double seat in sorry ,put it and the curtains back ,who needs walk through ,i never do as theres to much crap in the space. Plus you couls climb over it surely?
Looking at the different Devons I am not sure what one mine is? I do have a round badge on the back door which you can just make out says Devon on it and a Devon conversions sticker? :/
mines a devon moonraker as the layout inside is all along one side with a single buddy seat, but originally it had a spare wheel at the rear and a square numberplate with light on the bootlid its very confusing lol Im going to pay the DVLA for the V888 form ( I think thats what its called) and try to contact the previous owners... eventually B
I remembered after I posted above about the brochures - it actually says Eurovette on the original paperwork I got from the DVLA when I requested the history ... might be worth doing that if you haven't already ...
You can probably work out which by looking thro the brochures on here http://www.devonmoonraker.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/OthersalesBrochures.html
I love Devons. They're proper British. I love the interiors more than anything. If I ever part with my Westfalia...
