  2. Panels the top out with aluminium for the headlining.

    The foamed it up
    [IMG]

Then fitted the cab and side headlining. Also trimmed around the windows with the same material, not done anything like this before but well pleased tbh.

  3. looking gooooood

I love seeing a bus in fresh paint :)

those spot lights look neat

...I'm still debating weather to go for the micro LED ones (not much light but look good), or to go for bigger ones  ....what size are yours and where did you get them from, if you dont mind me asking?

  4. nice colour buddy was wondering how u got on the other day looking good now the hard work starts !!

  5. Yeah cheers guys, the headlining fit great btw and the instructions really help. I got the lights from b&q believe it or not only £7 each and 12v, I just sank them into the headliner with some brackets, well pleased with how they look and they are lovely and bright.

Got the tailgate, sliding door and oposite to the sliding door done quite easily.

But then the filler side panel came along and after a lot of head scratching I ended up making all the different pieces up out of ply and fiberglassing thn together.

Then another coat to strengthen it front and back
    [IMG]

An hour or so smoothing it off
    [IMG]

Then after I drilled it for the mounting clips it got wrapped in foam and then the vinyl and tbh im made up with how it has come out!!!!

Like the filler panel! I did something similar, but couldn't get the complicated angles working well so resolved to make it into a phone table with a little USB port for charging the phone when i'm asleep!

  9. Nice, I'm fitting a totem pole socket thingy with usb where the water filler hole is in the work top for the same thing.

I though about having a flat top like that and thought it would look poo but it looks cock on to me :)

I was similarly worried when putting it together originally, but it looks much better with the foams in place...

  11. Got the interior fitted, had to cut down the top box as it didn’t fit the van due to it having to sit further back because of the Devon roof but she looks ok.

Fitted my totem pole 240v sockets where the water tank used to be.

Got the thing fully wired now with leisure battery and split charge, inverter for them odd nights away too. I've wired it up with a relay on the 240v so the inverter kicks in when the mains is disconnected so quite proud of myself with that.

Also got my new aerial fitted to the front and its pretty terrifying drilling holes into fresh paint!

Set my front sus up today and refitted my belly pan, couldn’t live with it all dirty so had to paint it even tho only the MOT man is can see it lol
