Daisy 1973 full resto "5 years on"

Well that's it daisy is now at the paint shop !!

 

Good advice. I run a set of those flaps on an old Ford Zephyr a few years ago.. they get bloody hot and in my case they ripped the side wall out the tyre .. the rubber was all gooey and soft havent run them sice .. you often notice them getting discoloured when that happens if you peel them back you can see the side wall has been rubbed quite bad.. keep your eye on them..

my wife and i love them and with all the shiney bits and my wheels should look lush,just waiting for the wiring loom (tomoz is when the fun starts)

What are those colour's if you don't mind me asking The look very classic in keeping with the van

 

there very very similer to vw colours the bottom i had mixed up myself and the top is manilla cream i think !!

That is a seriously good looking bus, all that hard work is paying off.

btw I don't know how much your respray cost but it was worth it just to see the poster on the wall!

this was suppost to be a southafrican import !! i think i was dragged behind the boat he he !! this is my 1st vw and im learning just gotta try remember where all the bits go back on !!
