Cv joint headache

  6. I suspect you have fitted one of the joints the wrong way round on the shaft, easy to do if the pattern joints don't have the radial grove for orientation. The helix for the balls are supposed to be opposing or the drive shaft will try to wind its way out of the joint.

    The diff is working as it should although the flanges are tight on the splines they do seem to "wobble" but both sides do have the same play. Gearbox mountings are good haven't checked suspension arm though
    I have now fitted empi shafts and cv joints straight from the box to both sides and have been out and about in ever increasing circles around the block and made it home each time:thumbsup:
