Clearout of lots of genuine bay panels and more bay body and mechanical spares to add when time allows .Due to ill health my friend is not going to be able to carry on with his project bus so his collected horde of spares including the bus in need of resto must all go . 1. NOS genuine doors currently hinged for prototype bay £600 each SOLD 2.NOS genuine rear arch tubs .No longer available from suppliers £300 each BOTH NOW SOLD. 3.NOS genuine Nearside and offside rear cornerseats £200 each 4.NOS genuine (German made) side panel behind sliding door with pillar ,seat belts mountings ,sliding door runner etc etc . Much easier to fit than just panel skin Very rare panel £500 SOLD 5.NOS genuine Centre side panel to fit on the Nearside of a left hand drive vehicle but could be cut down to fit opposite side £150 6.Lower section of a rear corner genuine vw £75

 

73 tintop bus (panel van originally ) BUS SOLD shown in first pictures will also be available if anyone is interested ? Needs restoration but front panel and front arches already done

Hi Ron, Will get you a price .Sadly due to the value the NOS doors will not come with the van but it will be fitted with used replacements.There cannot be too many crossover RHD panel vans about so may be worth converting back to a panel van.

 

Bus is £1500.Comes with gearbox but no engine

 

Centre side panel now sold to Razzyh but all other bits still available and open to sensible offers.Also available is a late bay dash pod with the later black faced dials £75.

Slight damage to case(see arrow).Bare cases can be brought on fleabay for very little.Price is £75

 

The panel van is hopefully being pulled out of the barn next week so can put lots of pictures if anyone is interested ? I toke these tailgate out of the back today and the steering wheel.Tailgates all need work but are priced fair at £70 each.

Sold him a centre section.Really cannot believe these NOS panels have not sold ? I know when my bus was being done i brought the last wheel tubs that Schofields had and no one else could supply them.

 

to be honest they are quite adventurously priced I think, also the prices have dipped on vans and parts, however if you hold out for a while you may sell

I agree ! The T2 market has been completely saturated with imports and also T4,5 and 6 reliability is more in the favour of the general public . I do not make up the prices but I am more than happy to go back to the owner with realistic offers.I just really need to clear all this lot and believe me there will be more as we get through all of his hoard.Hiring a van and Volksworld in March may be a good option .

 

Hi, I can get it next week as now at home with the central heating cranked up and eating cake.I think it is a early one and has a slight crack (most have ).

 

give ah schofield a call, they offer half sensible money, but quick sell will never be highest price, carriage is also an issue with the big panels

 

They may be option later on .The rear NOS German made complete side panel I have never seen for sale before and although priced at £500 I think is a no brainer if you are restoring a bus but maybe not many people restoring are at the minute ?
