  1. If you can buy from the sellers in the eurozone and not those that are outside but pretend in the listing to be in
I got hit with a £50 import fee to my door on a 99 pence product
The torch i orderd was supposed to come with batterys and charger
It didnt but i still had to pay as if it has

It isn't me you have to convince. Like everyone I have to weigh up outlay against usage, otherwise it is justified that she asks why I bought it!,

It's just a hobby to me mate, I can't justify what Steve and Paul would probably spend on a good welder but there are some areas on my bus I will have to address in the ext couple of years and it would be nice to do them myself, now that would be cost effective.

You know what I mean - when we camp together.

  12. Theres only one or two repairs i neede to do when my bus comes back from paul and its tinware tack or plug welds
For that i dont need a decent welder and ive no welding work lined up this winter
Ill lend you y welder to learn with if you want malc but you will need to leave me with a cheap ass nasty one so i can stick bits of steel t5ogether should i need to
All agricultural stuff so i dont need a good mig

  13. No i know what i mean malc
By my count its at least four years since we have been in eye contact

It's one of the main issues with some of the cheaper kit, really need down to 20amps. I research lots on welders, try to find a good second hand one, the sealey ones are very good and very well priced. Good welders that go for lower prices generally due to lack of marketing are

    Migatronic
    Monomig / smashweld
    Lincoln(snap on , 20 years +)
    Butters

These are high end stuff that is generally aimed at the commercial fabrication market, pipe fitting etc

This is pretty good for the money

These are all very good and well known so generally sell for more but no better than above!

    Cebora
    Kemppi
    Thermal dynamics
    Murex (snap on) last 15-20years

  19. oopss.i worked as mr ofts knobman while he welded my van so it helped me learn rough swttings for different jobs. thats a good start, if youre able to work alongside a pro for a bit.
also make friends with your local independent welding supplulies emporium. theyre very helpful
