Collywobbles

My dad used to say it if I drank too much water before bed.

Anyone else now of this word?

 

Cor when I read that I thought @CollyP had posted a pic of him and his sister doing airplane s they used to say I’ve got the collywobbles years ago darn ear nit ment stomach aches n s h I tes?

 

Yep my dad used to say that,
“Don’t eat cheese before you go to bed or you’ll get the collywobbles” he would say

 

So it's not a dog that can't walk straight

“ don’t eat dogs that round up sheep before you go to bed or you’ll end up with collywobbles,

 

Yes it’s an expression we used as kids. There is another one which I have never heard any where else. Mom used to say that if you sat on a cold surface, you would get kinkoff. (I’ve no idea if that’s how you spell it) Or maybe she was really telling me to get off
