  1. We want a green one too! However any colour would do should someone be coming to the Isle of Wight

  2. this was the very reason why Bolton should've kept the market hall as it was, with some tasteful development to enhance the traditional feel of the place...the Arcades at Leeds, and Llandudnno spring to mind.....all the original cast ironwork and glazing emphasized, stone floor, a bit more integrity with some of the stall and shop fronts....would've been a breath of fresh air compared to the same old same old you see in every other town...

same with the old fire station on Marsden road opposite the motorbike shop ESB.....they only got planning permission to redevelop that site on the grounds that they'd retain and restore the original frontage (which was beautiful old red brick)....a month into the groundwork and quel suprise! it was a health hazard and had to be torn down....feckin' 2@s...

Cutacre tip near me, was going to be a community forest and grade 1 and 2 farmland after they opencasted it....guess what....permission to extend the site, no forest, no land restoration...a 4,000,000 sq ft. tin box industrial park, and possibly a hospital incinerator....utter c*nts...Bolton MBC have no balls....either that or there are a lot of councillors in cahoots with Peel Holdings and the like....

    rant over....

  3. Glad i got out when daisy hill and the surrounding fields became a property war

I spent most of my youth walking from daisy hill to the mast at rivington then camping for a few days and walking home

No internet but we carried a 12 volt massive battery with us and a silver rod so we could dx whilst we were up high

Ive still got a naughty rig but not lived in a house for a while where it can be set up properly
