Hell of a tidy chassis like new ...have you blasted and painted it ?

  2. Is the eye of the shock not moving around on the bolt?

I’d be taking one thing off at a time then moving everything to see if the clunk has gone

That look suspicious as Para pointed out. The shock bolt guide looks damaged and the rubber virtually non existent. Drop the shock absorber off and have a look at the centre hole

Have you tried popping the track rod arm out. Looks like there's a bit of play in it to me

If someone else does the bouncing and your underneath it you will soon zone in on the noise

  16. or try haing it all off the ground and use a lever to lift the wheel up and down a little at a time to try and recreate the noise. although you have only done 180 miles since MOT it may well have been a bad part from he start

  17. is the grub screw on the bottom arm tight and located properly? and the top one for that matter.

  19. ok, just to confirm, wheel to hub good, caliper to hub good, bearings good, shock absorber is good , ball joint good, brake disc good, ive checked both nearside and offside all the same no noise from offside only nearside .
when I try and move the wheel, rocking at the top, nothing moves and there is no noise then.
when the wheels were up, I grabbed the wheel and turned the steering no clunks no play.
I have measured the shock absorber, when up and when down ,imo no problem there bottoming out.
when driving ,it clunks quite loudly but the steering and the way it drives seem ok, no problems with steering lock on full both ways !..................but I appreciate all the help ;)

  20. I'll check those tomorrow, in fact i'm going to re-check everything i'll get my bro to assist with the noise locating.
I've now hit the cider :D
