Change Oil

  1. If your driveway is on a slight hill, which way round should you put your camper if you want to change the oil?

I understand that if it's on a flat, then that is the best!

but if you have no choice then which way round should it be?

  2. depending on what you mean by "slight" either dont worry about it or you can just drive which ever end onto some blocks of wood , bricks or similar to level which ever end you want thats all i ever do :)

  3. What oil will you use ? ;D

  4. it doesn't matter - either way you won't get all the oil out so you're defeating the object. Why not go around and do it on a local petrol station forecourt. Or at the local refuse site - they'll have disposal facilities for the oil there - that's where I usually go
    ;D

  5. Good idea !

    :D

type of oil ?? - i never really thought it mattered to be honest - cheapest - as long as you change it regularly thats all that matters.... old oil is just as bad for an engine as getting the totally wrong type, as long as your in the right ballpark with the type anything is better than none !

  6. Halfords classic 20w 50 mineral oil is what I use. Others might be more vocal on that one though...
    ;D

  7. I think 20W 50 is about right - but it's personal preference really...

Only you have to live the consequences, so if you want to use chip fat, or olive oil so be it !.... doesn't bother me....
