Carpet or vinyl - opinions ?

Actually - Scrap that idea, I'm not sure it would help with speed or mpg and if it's laid by my local council it would have fallen apart and full of pot holes in about 3 weeks !!

I went down the Madmatz route. For £60 you get enough tiles, glue and top polish. Easy to cut and easy to replace single ones if they get trashed. I don't consider scene taxed. We will then get a piece of carpet, cut to size and edge whipped. This is so it can be easily removed and cleaned. For everyday use, I will be just the tiles and put the carpeting for camping.
