  1. i m currently sortin out my bus and i quite fancy turning both front seats into captains chairs , is this dooable , thinking of structural problems , also am lookin at the bluebird swivels are they any good ...

  2. structural wise were the bodys different on vans that already had captains chairs fitted ?

  3. Terrordales

    Terrordales Nightshift

    It is perfectly "doable".
Once you have cut out the sections behind the seats you will need to weld in a couple of triangular gussets , but apart from that it's pretty straight forward. If your bus is a Deluxe Microbus you will either have to remove the air tube/arm rest or remove one armrest from the captains chairs
I bought a couple of genuine T3/T25/Vanagon swivel mounted Captains chairs for the camper but after much thought ended up using them in the T3. At some stage I'll use the T3 seats in the camper.

  4. My passenger seats swivels and there has been a square metal plate welded on to the old seat base and the swivel mechanism welded onto that.
