Camper seats

I am still at a lose figuring out what seats I need for my van I am posting some pictures of my runners on the van floor and then need expert help to sort out if I need early or late bay seats.

You need early ones

 

Thanks for that ,sorry to sound dumb but does that mean the seats with the knob or lever ? Does this make sense on a 76 bus ?

What's on the other side ?

Means the ones with the round knob

 

Can't really take a photo of that as still repairing it but from memory looked pretty plain ,what should I be looking out for ?

Not got any of them ,could have been removed when somebody put the late eighty's early ninety's ford seats in it.Where would they have been ? Were they fitted to both early and late bays.

Both early and late yes, around 2 inches from the rear bulkhead of the seat and near the seat belt mount on the other side

They go on the passenger side. The seat hooks into them. You should also have a hook (on the seat) and bracket (on the bulkhead) behind the seat for the seat to lock into .

Hi, sorry to jump on the back of this thread but similar issues, I have both original seats for my 72 crossover that I would like to refit in place of some generic honda seats. Below are photos of what I have bar underneath the drivers seat as I don't want to take it out just yet.

What am I missing? and how big a job is it to re install these seats?

If it isn't going to be too difficult or cost the earth then the next step would be to recover.

I got a pair from Buttys Bits they are superb quality

That sounds promising, so how does it go back together ? would you have a photo I can compare ? and where does that bracket go?
