Camper & Bus, Guildford to Bournemouth

Hi there all booked up for the above.
I was planning on spending the night in Bournemouth/surrounding area who knows of a good camper friendly campsite !!!!!

We were thinking of maybe going on to Tom's Field near Swanage.

we are booked into attending this but we will be staying in guildford on the sat night, then driving back from bournemouth on the sunday night

 

Could be tempted but wouldn't get there until 7pm on the Saturday, do you think that would be too late?

 

Thinking of doing this but will be driving up from Plymouth saturday, does anyone know the latest time we can arrive.

 

I imagine they would allow arrivals until fairly late. Later than 7.00 anyway. We won't be able get to Guildford until about 10.00. Might just tag onto the cruise in the morning.

 

These can be quite pricey. you could try a new site some peeps I know have just started, Poltons park campsite at Ower just off M27. Might be able to sort out a discount. I think they only have about 8 pitches

 

All booked up for this it looks a good nights camping and be great to cruise all down to the Sea frt Has anyone got their tickets yet in the post?

 

I am booked up for this, just had an email stating that the plaque (ticket) has been posted out so we should get them soon. Not sure if the campsite is much thou, does anyone know of any other campsites in the area with more than one toilet.

 

Yahoo! Got my plaque although I'm putting mine in the window as I don't trust it not to slide off. Meanwhile makes a rather attractive decoration stuck to the extractor above the cooker in my kitchen.

 

PS I've booked into the campsite in Guildford but not too impressed with the arrangements as the camps website says only ONE Loo! If that's true there's going to be one hell of queue.

 

From past experiences I wouldn't be concerned about the queue but more the mess it'll get into. Looks like I'll be using the bottle and bag that evening

We are going to look elsewhere to camp and join the cruise at some point, disappointed with the campsite planned as its reviews aren't good.

 

Panic over - apparently 'VW Camper & Bus' are providing extra toilets - phew! ALSO they've got 200 vans taking part. 'Mercy sakes alive - looks like we got us a convoy'

 

As long as I have room for my chair and can park with my rear door to the morning sun I'm happy

 

I'm trying to work out if that's a euphemism or not
