Cab door window lifter

Quick question, does the glass go straight in the lift channel on its own or does it have a rubbersleeve between the metal and the glass?

 

Should be a rubber bit

 

You can get the rubber bit from the usual suppliers. Resist the temptation to crimp the clamp on to the glass with mole grips - disaster will strike!
