Cab door aperture height

could someone do me a favour & measure the height of their cab door aperture from the top of the wheelarch to the underside of the gutter please?

It's tricky to get an accurate measurement,

You could
Fit your door and offer arch up to suit it... 5mm gap...

Make the arch fit the door you are going to use... you will probably find that if ten people measure their frames, no two would be the same...

 

Yea just anywhere along the horizontal part of the arch

Vw factory manual, was hard to find and was big ££££££, was thinking of getting it copied and selling for a nominal fee, covers replacement of all panels and welding types measurements etc, including crash damage repairs

 

I’d buy a copy. Would make some good bedtime reading.
