BusFreeze - Stafford - 22-23 October 2011

As always after Vanfest we turn the key and start the BusFreeze engine to prepare for the event. This year will be the third year of the event and is probably the last Camper show on calendar. So we aim to make it a good one.

Camping at the showground is still just a fiver per vehicle. We've brought the entry time forward and extended the closing time this year. Details on the website. Selling your camper is moving onto the tarmac area from the grass on Sunday. Entry for vehicles into the sales area is by pre-booking only. It's free to pre-book and to sell on the day. Autojumble - that's outside for the first time on Saturday afternoon and indoors on Sunday. Pre-booking is essential for either / both days. Cost is free on both days.

Special display - Devons and Danburys. If any members have a nice example they would liket to display please get in touch. Two free event passes & free camping, plus petrol/diesel assistance for those with exceptional vans traveling from afar.

Camping for the club can easily be arranged. All campers must pre-book and please let us know if you would like club camping.

Show and shine entries open up shortly via the website. Please don't leave it too late to book.

anybody up for a cold camping night? we're thinking about it

 

Sadly the bus will be off the road having some TLC done to the rear.

 

it's only about 10 miles from my house so i'm going to this for sure, it will be the last of the year i use the van as it goes into store from Nov 1st. :'(

 

Weve been for the last few years but never camped.

Prob cus we didnt know anyone.
i would but Tina says no way hose a or was it hose b ;D

i'll be going camping as well. really enjoyed dub freeze. might be on my own for this one as its too cold for suz...

 

Nothing like jumping on at the deep end...we've booked to go on this...our very first show and my first camping experience! The kids and rich camped out in alfie last weekend...they loved it. All assuming alfie plays ball...we were due to go out last sun but he refused to start!

 

who's camping then? are there enough to ask for club camping or is it a free for all? and,also am i reading it right? you can register to camp but don't pay until the day?
EDIT i've registered anyway as you don't pay until the day (seems daft that as it encourages people to book and then not turn up, thus giving false sense of being full?) if i'm reading right someone contacts them to ask for club camping and then it's sorted that way....presume by registration number?

 

I'm aiming to go for the day on the Sunday - got to work Saturday.

Looking forward to it - meant to go last year but never made it.

 

Just checked Im weekend off!! Think we might be up for this the cold weather doesnt scare us!! ;D ;D :shiver:

 

I will have a look through the site an see!! If not its the charcoal fired BBQ but at least its something warm to sit round! ;D

As soon as woody gets back from his impromtu holiday i will start nining him to get him along aswell!

 

Will prolly be there, might even camp if I get engine sorted in van, sounds like me buddies L b there too which b a bonus ;-)
