It's back. Up through the night coughing up what looks like Swarfega. So I make it about 2 months now. Anyone else?
I took Holly to the doctor yesterday she's had a cough for 8 weeks now the doctor says she has a chest infection, I can't get her to take her medicine
Catch 22 here ... The boss has a rare-ish rheumatoid-related lupus-type auto-immune syndrome, which means being on immuno-suppressants ("Today is hyphen day") but had to come off them a couple of months back thanks to a bacterial chest infection followed by a viral one Take the pills and pick up another lurgy? Don't take the pills and get permanent damage from internal chemical "self harm"? I'm "self isolating" ... because of having to crack on with finishing this holiday let for Sunday Wish you all better soon
I joked about having the Corona virus previously, but I've not had lungy/chesty lurgy like this for years. Perhaps it's made it's way here in its mild form over the autumn, theres thousands of Chinese tourists here at any one time and a lot if our universities have a high percentage of Chinese students. Has Public Health England given any detail on the symptoms, severity and duration of the mild form that most people would get and recover from?
I avoid antibiotics if at all possible, but you cant get near a doctors appointment at the moment anyway. Might have to try the dog's Amoxicillin he had from eating slugs.
Who's the guys picture you keep posting then ? On a serious note ... long may your good health continue!
Try echinacea purpurea for a fortnight. Make sure it's E. purpurea and not E. augustifolia, that's just the preventative stuff.
Haven't been near a doctor's surgery for.....ever. Seriously, apart from a couple of exotic jabs for distant shores I've always avoided going near waiting rooms full of 'bugs'. Home remedies revolve around fresh air and exercise (+red wine)!
