Bug tech shifter!!

Anybody got a bug tech shifter in their bus? How do they fit with carpet on the cab floor? Any pictures would be helpful.

I think it goes..

Take out stock shifter.
Place base of new shifter on carpet. Mark around it or make a paper template
Cut extra sized hole with sharp knife.
If you like remove carpet to make it easier to cut..

Fit shifter... then decide stock one was better and regret big hole in carpet ..

 

My bro has one in his buggy looks cool as and shifts amazing, i'll buy one this year if the bus doesn't sell!

 

I'm definitely getting one!!! The Mrs might even dare driving it aswell lol

Sad to say I have an EMPI shifter which came with the bus. It has fallen apart once and worn out once but has been welded up so it still works.

 

They're exceptionally well made arguably better than anything else on tye market

 

Also worth looking at the TrafficCox shifter

 

It's a rip off version of bug tech without the design qualities think they're the same price too

I don't think it's a rip off he's been doing them a few years by the looks of it.

Only cost me 215 for mine I think

They look not bad shifters and im sure they perform well but for me it's form and function with the bug tech, looks and performs superbly but horses for courses and all that

Not for me im afraid dont like the look ive tried both and my moneys on the bug tech but again just my opinion! If you like it good for you Copper bug tech looks amazing

 

They'll do you one with a round handle. They will.
