Buddy seat advice

Hi all

I have recently removed the original double seat in my 79 Devon Sundowner as it blocked off the walk though which seemed a bit silly as I like the 'free pathway' of the walk through. I am thinking of installing 2x buddy seats either side of the walkthrough in the back and quite like the look of the Rusty Lee ones trimmed by Delilahs. It occurred to me that the backrest for these would just be the metal bulkhead - can you get back cushions for these or is there a better solution? Many thanks

 

We make a backrest for these. With space restrictions though they're are thin more like an interior panel but do finish it off.

And here are a few pics, the last showing the back panel. It's padded with 6mm foam ...all that the space will allow unless you compromise on the seat foam which you wouldn't want to do really.

Alternatively you could have a full sized panel covering the bulkhead and then fix the buddy seat frame to that ...might look better for you.
