  1. yes! i still haven't forgiven them for throwing greece under a bus, but i'd rather an imperfect system for now until we are presented with a better solution, whatever that may be. we weren't. we were presented with a choice without any insight into what that would mean in real terms.

And the sun goes down then comes up again in the morn ...the tide comes in and out and the moon makes it's night time appearance ...and all of the them not a care in the world all exempt of paranoia .

This is what upsets me about Brexit. I have many good reasons for not wanting to be in the EU but fascism and racism are not any of them and I quite resent being dumped into that category by the media and anyone else who thinks that way. I can't help feeling (though I cannot offer any proof) that most people who want to leave the EU are similarly treated.

  4. I know a few lefty leavers (lexiters) too - Corbyn has wanted out of the EU for years, kilroy-silk labour MP (though i'm pretty sure we disowned him), UKIP candidate - some of the left have a long history of opposing the EU.

To simplify the brexit debate into left and right isn't understanding the left at all, and so i am sure that to assume that all leavers are racists or fascists is equally as lazy... but look at the leaders of the leave campaigns, listen to their language, their rhetoric... if you lie with dogs?

I am not a lexiter (we established that, right?) but if i were i still couldn't vote for farage because despite the fact that we want the same thing (out of the eu), his way of getting there is wildly different and i wouldn't want to endorse his views.

And yet despite this, i do think a great number of leavers are closet racists and fascists. I have no proof of that either other than my own experiences.

    I think it's trifold...

Anger at the EU's stance, which appears pretty un negotiable...overarched with what appears to be an undeserved superiority and general smart arsedess from unelected, very well paid 'diplomats'.

Our own sides general utterly crap approach which gives the impression of a begging bowl at best, and certainly zero leadership on either side of the house that could 'lead' us in a post Brexit world. I'm down on politicians at the best of times but this lots utter priority on self service and balls to the people they represent leads me to absoloutely want a general election where not one standing MP is allowed to re stand.

A supposedly 'viable' alternative in uki....er...Brex....er.....the far right Tory party having at least a semblance of clarity on where they are going.

I naturally didn't vote as I don't believe our options are democratic.

Again....imagine that election with a counted and registered vote of 'none of the above'.....

Then you'd see where the majority of people are.

Im sure the two main parties would love to see the back of this, if there was another referendum it would be never ending and they would both be heavily punished, no matter which way it went,he won't say it but I would imagine Corbyn would love the Conservatives to push a no deal through, he could blame them if it went wrong and it would put an end to it before the next election cos outside London they are in it deep if the go remain.

Apparently, I heard Alister Campbell doing the maths ??? heaven forbid he tried to put a spin on it , the Lib Dems said it was a massive swing to remain???? according to the professor it was exactly 50-50 which I would imagine is even more as clear as mud.

  17. Yes it will be analysed to death and then used to support which ever polarised view you have.

To most remainers it's simple, 30% voted brexit party so 70% want to remain :gnome:
