Does this part even exist ?
Anyone know where to find one new - I’ve had a search in the usual places but I can’t find one ..[IMG]

The good news is they do exist. The bad news is I can’t remember where I got mine.

Didn’t cough at the part price of £5.95 but £3.95 to post

Nipping down the motor factors first to see if they have owt

  9. Use a spark plug boot with a short length of 3/16” brake pipe

Funny that - just been in the motor factors and they asked if that’s what it was , I could try that but the one removed seems a lot thicker and less pliable than a ht boot - less likely to bend , fold and block?

  11. Give it a go. Recall that's what I used on mine.

I stuffed a bit of brake hose in the "boot" bit of the part in your picture and connected the tank breathers to that...Its the same piece on an oil bath cleaner as far as I can tell.

Did just this today - sort of worked , not sure about it’s longivety but it’ll do till DubFreeze where I’m sure I’ll find the correct part

  15. Hi Dazza, sorry to intrude on your quest. Just got to the air box on my restro and need advice on where the 4 vacuum connections go. You have answered for 1 here which I take it connects to the tank breather T piece and yes my reducer is also shot. The diagram for the earlier filter type elsewhere on TLB is useful but I would be grateful to know which of the 2 legs on the small thermo valve connects to the air flap diaphragm. One is metal with a jet and ball valve below and the other plastic. Also need to confirm other line goes to a manifold vacuum take off point, which I do not have as the manifold has been modified for a servo. Thanks in advance.
