theres a pipe that comes put of the air filter box to (cant remember) if its was the top of the oil filler or on the engine, can anyone tell me the correct name for this tube so I can buy it please? thank you Regards Wizard
Not sure which pipe you mean but if you measure the OD of the spigot that sticks out and buy a length of it from a car shop.
It helps if you can post exactly what engine your running and photos will help a lot to, unfortunately VW did not produce a crystal ball!
Ok young un - firstly this is general discussion and you need to post up stuff like this -Mech n tech for best results - lecture over, soz Secondly it is just a breather hose 12mm - top breather hose - here http://www.vwheritage.com/vw_spares...shop.product_pID_72023_lang_EN_country_GB.htm Which is a shame cos I have just thrown some!
Go vwh then -- I can't find the proper link Thats why I posted up the first link - just to get you into vwhs site, I typed in breather hose and that came up, I am sure they do the proper one!
Top photo, left hand side in the fuel line between the tank and fuel pump. Clear / white plastic with fuel visible in it. Move it out of the engine bay, to the fuel line over the top of the gearbox. Its 2 joints you don't want / need in the engine bay. Bays burn really well!
