Breather hose??

  1. theres a pipe that comes put of the air filter box to (cant remember) if its was the top of the oil filler or on the engine, can anyone tell me the correct name for this tube so I can buy it please?

  2. Not sure which pipe you mean but if you measure the OD of the spigot that sticks out and buy a length of it from a car shop.
     
  3. but i'm not sure if they connect to other ???

  5. It helps if you can post exactly what engine your running and photos will help a lot to, unfortunately VW did not produce a crystal ball!:thumbsup:

    Go vwh then -- I can't find the proper link Thats why I posted up the first link - just to get you into vwhs site, I typed in breather hose and that came up, I am sure they do the proper one!

    Move that fuel filter if you get the chance.
     
  16. from where to where? and why ? and.... wait for it, which ones the fuel filter?
     
  17. I think your referring to the left hand side black hose that's over the air hose?

    Top photo, left hand side in the fuel line between the tank and fuel pump. Clear / white plastic with fuel visible in it.
    Move it out of the engine bay, to the fuel line over the top of the gearbox.
    Its 2 joints you don't want / need in the engine bay. Bays burn really well!
