How can it possibly look fine on an L and gash on anything after?
The vehicles are identical so it will look no different whatsoever.

Very true rickyrooo1 , i can remember old lorry's coming in to the garage i used to work at, and asking whilst they had a job done if we would get shot of the black a silver ones that they had originally ...and have the yellow and black ones ...making them look more modern .
But were still a rattling lump of Marmitee .

Late bays with old style black and white plates look righteously awesome. (Fact)

At the end of the day if it's keeping your bus as original as possible , and it is important to you then it's yellow black /white black after 1.1.73 .
personally i think you can get away with it B/silver on a L plate because it is so close to the change .
mines a March 73 just out ..but i have B/silver on , making it non original .
Recently i saw a picture of my bus of quite a while back and it had the Yellow / black ones fitted ...must admit iam thinking of putting back to original all be it 2 months out .
