The electrics are - if you have a tow bar you must now also have a working socket for the lights. For several of my customers who inherited tow bars with their vans it's been the signal to get rid altogether.

 

Thats strange as i thought the inspection of towbar electrics on older vehicles was that the connecting plug was in present and undamaged condition
I thought it was newer vehicles that were plugged into the towbar tester?

Last mot my passat wasent plugged in to the towbar tester

 

I stand corrected.

 

Its best to look it up as i may not be correct
Im just going of what my tester did on my daily

Well if that's representative of the standard of work done by your restorer then I'd get your bus back quick! I mean, he's even using rusty metal for goodness sake and he's missed loads of bits off.

Yes Ken, much better. Obviously you showed your restorer my comments about his work and he admitted his error and promised to do it properly from now on. Result

I think the 'likes' are a bit pathetic. I much preferred the Karma on the old site. If you gave karma you got a chance to say why. And most fun of all you could 'smite' something you didn't like.
