Iv been so engrossed in doing what indo for the last million years i havent a clue what id do if it were me.
There is definitely something nice about Ariel photography. Here is one of mine. Good luck with the license
I remember the days when my Dad and 2 older brothers were working, they did pretty much the same job all their working lives. I didn't want that and tried a variety and it made life much better. Some jobs didn't work out or I got made redundant but was used to different jobs. These days are much better as there is no loyalty with firms, and folks don't expect to be in their jobs for life. Times are a changing and the lucky ones are those who are adaptable and willing to change and do a variety of jobs. With your positive attitude, you will do well. Go for it.
Winters Leap That's down the road over the other side of the River Severn in the Wye Valley just north of Chepstow. I think I did a route at Winters leap that ended in someones garden. There's also Symonds Vat, popular with beginners and groups ... I fell off there and crushed two vertebrae stopped my from being a helicopter navigator.
I watched this and loads of other documentaries on the same thing... If I got made reduntant ,i'd be off... People think the world will stop if they don't work provide etc ,the truth is "time out" is brilliant...
Unfortunately for a lot of people trapped in personal debt there is no wriggle room whatsoever. I know some people have only themselves to blame, but for many the cost of rent and essential bills has spiralled out of control. Private landlords who have bought an extra house instead of keeping money in the bank are effectively making money off people who are already struggling to survive.
Good luck Malc. I got made redundant 2 years ago after 15 years. Fought their offer and walked away considerably better off for it. Stumbled into another job doing pretty much the same. Wish I'd done something completely different but apathy won the day.
I fell from Jumping Carrots which is the one with the overhang at Sea Walls. Lack of skill and over confidence was the order of the day! Also got stuck on the 2nd pitch of the one that comes up under the bridge. Eventually got "rescued" by the guys from High Access who were painting the bridge. He abseiled down to me, showed me how to do the move I was stuck on, and went back to work! I eventually got to work about 2 hours late, with horrific sunburn. My boss really didn't believe me when I told him I was sorry I was late; but that I'd been stuck up a mountain!
I think Malc has a few quid The whole ethos of a camper is get up and go the worlds your oyster ... I don't like money at all ,if I did i'd be a rich man.. I'm going to do the walk not for religious reasons or because I can ,I'm doing it before I get too old ...
