This is a great day out and the chanc to drive beetles and campers down the musuems reconstructed roadway.

We're there from 3.10 in the yellow newbie, but it's Wilma's turn this year!

and just for Bev (D'n'D) Puca can be heard barking from 4.20 ;D

 

That looks like great fun. Closing date was the day before yesterday but I think I will have a go at applying anyway.

 

The applying thing is just for displaying, I think. We just turn up and pay the museum entrance fee and then jump in at the the end of the line when the rundfart (love that word) starts.

There's normally two rounds of the tramway at set times.

 

Brilliant. It's my wife Linda's birthday two days after so that would be the day we would be doing something and a fab day in the camper is pretty much her idea of a perfect thing to do. My daughters would have you believe that I am ideal for rundfart duties so we will be there.

 

Oooh I love Crich. Been going there since I was a boy. I'm going to try and get to this too.


PS. If you gift aid your ticket you can go as many times as you like a year after the date on your ticket.....

 

and with the entrance fee you get a old penny to ride the tram

so looks like a mini tlb meet up, pub or cafe to meet up? 1pm?

 

Never been to Crich museum before so either works for us. I am looking forwards to this loads and I only heard about it about 30 mins ago!

Sounds great. I love the facade of the pub. The ornate tiles are amazing. And all salvaged from a London boozer IIRC.

You'll love it Bertiebot, even if it seems a little twee at first.
