Thought I’d give this its own thread just for a bit of a change and general interest. It’s a former livestock trailer I’m converting for someone into a coffee shop and prosecco/ craft beer bar. Making a hatch on the side for the coffee, decided it wasn’t high enough when you’re serving inside so needed to cut into the roof a bit Going to make two doors with the cut out side and have chalk boards on the inside for the menu & price when the doors are open That’s tomorrow’s job At the back we’re keeping the animal ramp and side gates , made a bar for the beer pumps
Did ya see it, £15,000 to put a bed and a log burner in a cattle box, @Flakey your budget must be at least £25,000 #Hipster
My brother is like you Dunc, can turn his hand to anything and it looks good. Wakes up one morning and thinks I'll plaster that wall today, never plastered before quick you tube later and ta da all done. I cant even mix the stuff correctly after reading the instructions. I suspect you're the same. I'm going to spray my pickup/build a barn/convert an old horsebox today.......I hate you both.
Lol, I can’t sing or play a musical instrument and I’ve been known to put brake fluid in the washer bottle
You must be thinking of one of the other conversions, this one was a cattle box with a log burning pizza oven, the bare trailer cost £4000 at auction I'll have to watch it again to make sure I'm not going mad, but I'm pretty sure the total cost was Camper van money.
@Flakey is it.going to be called bean and bubble? Pretty sure there is already a campervan called bean and bubble doing the same thing www.beanandbubble.co.uk
You need to fix his side repeater Reproductions are available from abroad somewhere @morc bought some.
Bit more progress today They’ll look good with chalk boards on the inside to put the price list on Managed to fold the roof tin over so it’ll help keep some rain out And filling the vent channels with some timber Time for a beer I think
Looks great. My friend bought an old Ski Lift Gondola 2 years ago, had it couriered over from Austria and converted it into a mobile Raclette bar! Is the plan to keep the outside looking fairly original?
Yep, leaving the roof cream and all the frame angle ally silver but painting the side squares a darkish blue.
