  1. Ask the guy, he's one of the sites sponsors so I'm sure he'll be keen to help. :)

  2. Yes drill a hole in the top and use a proper connector to fit it. :)

  3. Glad you reminded us about this - I couldn't find the red one when I looked last year - from the description I thought it was somewhere else, anyway I have just looked and located it and guess what? CORRECT! It was knackered!

Needless to say this is now changed. I still need to do the ones behind the fire wall, but the engine isn't coming out any time soon.

  4. Well done M8, in my experience the red one is always the worst as its exposed to all the elements. the ones in the engine bay are exposed to morons and halfwits the ones behind the firewall are fairly well protected but should be changed at the earliest opportunity.
    :)

  6. that's how mine was, ,just gotta drill hole and connect the pipe to the pancake filter, was quite disturbed how bad the join was behind the wheel well too .is there alot of draw from the carb to pull the fumes through does anybody know or is it simply to vent ,cant believe i left it so long.

  7. Yeah that makes sense. I did the ones on the 'T piece ' last year they weren't actually too bad but this one was torn as you can see. Well worth everyone having a look at theirs. It took 5 mins to rip the old one off and put new one on. It actually isn't too fiddly either even with the tyre well and leaving the lights in place.

We didn't even look at these. Have a look yourself at the ones you have access to. Don't worry there's no petrol in these, you can swap them easy:thumbsup:

Sorry, just seen the question and that it's already been answered but yes.

And @Wispy I know yours is like this because we looked at it together at Spring Camp.

  15. Thanks for coming back to me Chris, I took the fire wall out (along with most of the Fi intake system) this morning. It all looks alright but I've ordered some new pipe to fit as been as it's now already in bits!
