My Auto box has a vacuum mod valve & electric kickdown switch. No connection to the carbs. Is that a 003 box? I duno. Still only 3 forward & 1 reverse speeds. I now work on Mercs with 9 speed boxes, quite a bit smoother
You have the early box, the later one has an accelerator cable to the box and then a solid bar to connect with cross bar between carbs.
