Anything serious?

I was driving the other day and noticed in 3rd and 4th gear I get a bit of a grinding noise, not loud, it's not when I'm accelerating it only does it if I let off the pedal as if the clutch is engaging slightly?
Any idea?
I'm going to top up the gearbox oil today if it's low to see if that helps

have you topped up your oil yet

 

Oil level was good oil that trickled out looked good

 

some do some dont but some molly mite help ??

 

What's molly? As in molly grease?

have you tried adjusting clutch a tad tom see if it still does it ?

 

It is like a scraping noise but it's only when I let off the power no particularly when I depress the clutch

Don't listen that ^^^ scaremongering lot, it's fine now turn the radio up and enjoy the bliss.

 

Iv been doing that haha we are going into Europe in it for 3 months and just don't want it to become a bigger problem!

 

That never stopped me, we'd drive off on hols and what happened happened but never went for that long.

 

If we was just staying in the UK I would just wait to see if it got worse but I don't want it to stop us in any way while we are away
