Anyone had any dealings with PARKING EYE

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Bigdeano, Aug 30, 2013.

  1. Honestly @Bigdeano just forget it and move on ,nothing will come of it

  2. This sums it up.

There is no fine, private parking companies can't fine anyone. All you have is an invoice for an alleged breach of a presumed contract.
There is no appeal process with PPCs, they just want your money.
Ignore all correspondence, never contact them, and don't pay them a penny. They'll give up after a few scary looking letters, and go after some other mug who falls for their scam

  3. If you get a letter from P.E. saying that the case has been forwarded/taken over by debt collectors/bailiffs, ignore that too. The collectors will most probably have the same address as P.E. I believe. They are a division (not like Nikita) of P.E. who try and scare you into paying.

When we picked up the T5 it broke down due to knackered alternator, limped to derive area at night with no lights sat waiting over the permitted 2hrs for recovery truck and got a letter say we owed on the car we drove down in which was with the T5 all the time. Mrs TW did respond at first until I told her no ignore them.

They will keep sending you letters then pass you on to a debt collector and he will send many letters then pass you on to another until you get forgotten.

Bare in mind if the debt collector has not been authorised by the court then you have not contract with them at all - they can't enforce a thing and if they assert that they can report them for fraud.

I'd also nominate that if one of those *****ers steps one foot on your property or touches anything of yours - have them nicked for trespass.

Always film them - they hate that.

  6. Found out that the car park is not council owned and is also used by another building other than the hotel, just fired an email off to them again saying solicitor involved and poplar will be contacted if they persist....see what happens

  9. Thing is as well mailing scam companies like this is really stupid as you mail address could well be passed into a so called mugs list as your falling for the bait and you could start to receive mails from other scammers.

  13. If she insists on contacting them then she should say that any letters they send back will be deemed as a contract between her and them, therefore, any further correspondence she sends in reply to them will be charged at £200 per letter and failure to pay these fees will result in legal action which will also result in all her court costs being added to the bill for her letters to them. Then sit back and see how quick they are to send letters to her then.
I actually had a guy on my YT favourites explaining this but I've lost the vid!

  14. Ignore them!
I've got loads of letters from them and others if you want to read them.
    They're scare tactic Marmitee.

  17. Have a look on pepipoo.com. There will be someone else with a case similar to yours and you will get loads of help from people, they will even tell you the sequence of letters that you will get from the company. Mainly though, ignore all threats as they have no legal backing.

  18. Have had a read up of the latest threads regarding parking eye now they actually add on loads of charges and then file court procedings against you ,most people then pay at the risk of going to court but if you hold out they never actually turn up ,think it only costs £25 to file the court documents so its proberly well worth them doing so ,so still the same procedure of ignoring them ,but if you get court documents filed its advised not to ignore those ,theres loads of threads advising anyway.
