Any RAF types? Lancaster bomber flight path 16/05/18?

dear RAF personnel,

Tomorrow the BBMF Lancaster is due to make a 75th anniversary flight from Scampton, over Ladybower, Derwent valley, Chatsworth then onto Rolls Royce factory.

I’m planning to finish work to try and see it near Lady-bower. It’s due over midday Ish.

I can’t find the web page that shows flight paths so that I can try and catch it en route if I’m a bit late.

Any ideas please?

Ive read an announcement somewhere that there is excessive wind and the flight may be postponed

I’ve seen BBMF site and now joined FB page.

However, the other year there was a fly past due over a fete down the road. One chap there to watch had a website which showed the actual flight path so that we could see which direction the planes would come from.

It was like their route for the day on a map.

Sadly they didn’t get as far as Sheffield as mechanical problems meant they had to cut short the planned route .

I thought if I was late to get to proper car parks etc I could stop on route to see it.

I’m hoping today’s flipping change in weather won’t have stopped it!
