Another Newbie

Evening. I bought myself a 73 off here a couple weeks ago and it is a bit of a project but the previous owner did lots of hard work. He made the deal as stress free as it could be and suddenly it was under my car port.

I have owned a couple beetles, a split and Ghia in the past but I've not had an air cooled for a couple years. I will be fannying around with it and hopefully camping a couple of times this summer.

Ha. I wish.

Needs some captive nuts welding underneath the gear shift plate thing. Bloody nightmare as can't drive it to get them welded. I can't reconnect the bloody gear shift until it's done.
