Hi as I have now owned my first vw for approx 4 months and been peering into TLB site I thought I would introduce ourselves. My camper is a 79 Devon moonraker which I have used once on a round trip of 800 miles with no problems so now I'm hooked !!!! Felt the old girl needed some TLC so she went straight to the body shop for de rusting new colour scheme, and when she is back I will be putting a new interior, etc to hopefully get one more trip out of her before the winter. Today I took the plunge and cut out the bulkhead behind the passenger seat to make it a swivel seat, seems straightforward but time will tell. When she is complete I should have some original seats bumpers door panels buddy seats etc to list on the classified section to try to claw back some of my investment !!!!! Will post some pics when I can downgrade the photos enough to load them Cheers for now Chris
Hi and welcome from Bolton. Look forward to seeing some pics. Bold move btw removing the bulkhead as your first job. I do see the benefits of the swivel seat though.
Hi the seat bulkhead is yours !!! All you have to do is collect it at your convenience, the trailer is a westy 1973 Berlin totally original which will be going to the body shop to be painted to match the Bay
Welcome I have cut the bulkheads out of mine and putting swivel seats in as well. Hoping to get them back from kens customs re- upholstered at the end of the week and then taking her out for the first time since purchasing Will post some pics when I've done.

she is going into primer next week, was this week but when screen came out there was a bit of rust so new front it is !!!!!!!!!
