I know a guy called Mark from Bollington - he drives a blue/white hitop T25 Sent from my PLK-L01 using Tapatalk
So bit of a tidy up and strip down today seats are in good nick so I'll take them home and stick em in the loft out of harms way Pulled all the bolt ons and glass out Body's ready for lifting off tomorrow
Looks pretty solid on face value. I may join the beetle crew once the bus is done. Addicted now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If it is 3rd on the priority list and you have sorted the other 2 since Sat , which I assume you have as you have started the beetle , I think you should have it finished by the end of the month !!!
Not quite, it's in prime spot in the workshop so I've been forced to do a bit so I can get it moved into another corner out of the way!
Well, been considering what to do with this Beetle. Thought about breaking it but as I was forced to do a massive workshop tidy up today due to the roof gaps letting snow in I lifted the body off and had a good inspection of where it’s at. I can roll the chassis in and out now to work on It’s had quite a bit of work at some point, not by me, this is the first time I’ve had the chassis out to have a look.
The body still needs some welding but not much I’ve got new heater channels to go on. Too good to break I think, looking forward to cracking on with it now.
Pretty solid for a 45 year old bug. That floorpan looks like it only need a wee tickle with a welder around the battery tray and opposite side.
