And so it begins!

  1. Good Question Zed.
I can only imagine its some kind of Heath Robinson oil breather thingymajig?
Came with engine and probably won't be staying on, but I am curious as to what the thought process was.

  2. Zed

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

That wouldn't do anything of course, apart from ruin the oil filler cap. Crank case venting should be directed out of the engine bay as that's where your heating air comes from.

And this is so named Belle with a smile and a fresh MoT for 2017, bit more fettling n tuning and cupboards to sort out in the back but more or less good to go after a 2 year restoration.

  20. I took a run up to Delilah's last week to drop off my RnR boards n foam. Daz is a great and totally gets it. Had a good blether, discussed the design and later I sent him a very basic image I knocked up on excel of all things of what I'm looking for.

Excuse the crap image from my computer screen but you get the general idea. The cushions will match the door cards he and Lizzie have already made.

Also this week got a picture of the cupboards I've ordered. I made a few changes to the guys standard design which he has been happy to do for me. They are made from a water resistant MDF is only slightly heavier than the very expensive lightweight ply that is normally used. I still need to seal, undercoat and paint them once they are here. Wasn't really looking for a painted finish but it's cheap and if I don't like it I can change it whenever I want. Very happy with the design and hopefully they will just slot right in with minimal scribing in.
