  4. I once passed an mot by drilling out a small rot hole bigger and fitting a rubber bung

    Hole drilled bigger no corrosion rubber bung was just to plug the hole lol

  8. they wouldnt nessarly be on a q plate any way even with a massively modified chassis as long as the retained enough components (points) from the original vehicle. ie you could cut a van in half and lenghten or shorten it as long as you kept original axles and engine/box etc you can keep the original tittle ie the original number plate and vw bus on the logbook

    from memory I think it needs to have 2 out of 3 of engine, gearbox and chassis - check IVA (used to be SVA) regs for clarity on this though...
