    You know, the little carbs on BSA bikes and Royal Enfields.

    So much better than fuel injection on bikes today, and more tuneable.

    34mm Amal carb was the choice for Lambretta 225 kits IIRC ?

    At full throttle they could consume cats, dogs and small children.

    The thing I like about Amals is you don't need a choke you just tickle it and flood the little beauty and usually one kick and off you go.
