I had a phone call today from the Collage (Hub), i aplyed to Join a course Art & Design, its lvl2 (deff think i will be pushing it) and i have been asked to take some of my Work in, Downside when i moved to this village i lost LOADS of my work, well be honest and say practicaly ALL . I told them this and she said well bring in your most recent, but i havent realy put pencil to paper in a while, Do you think i should cram in some Drawing now, i have till the 1st Sept looooool?
Absolutely! I interview for arts courses and tbh without a portfolio/evidence of recent work it's very difficult to assess someone's suitability for the course/level etc. do you have any photo's of your previous work? if so, take them along too. Remember, they're not looking for someone who can already do it, they're looking for a talent they can work with and build on, enthusiasm and commitment. and, most importantly, GOOD LUCK!
