Does anyone know the grade of plastic used on the seal behind the alternator? I've just discovered that the tinware I've had powdercoated isn't the normal size, it's larger and oval and as a result I've got a gap. I've searched the shed and don't I don't seem to have a corresponding seal. I just wonder what I can put in here to bridge the gap but which won't go up in flames!
