Think of the fun I could have had! https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.te...-plump-shoppers-lose-weight-nhs-guidance/amp/
I used to work with an old chap who used to shout ‘One at a time please!’ , when a substantial lady would be stood on the weighing scales. He’d then duck behind the counter so some one else - often me - got the glare.
I think it would be a bit much for the pharmacist themselves to have to bring up the Topic ....which they would probably eat any way . It is a worrying sight these days to see such a staggering amount of very obese people these days It's possible that there are so many very fat people these days that they simply think it's the norm, and don't find it a problem Yet . Most people are, you would think are totally aware of the collection of dangers arising health wise from being very obese . I read somewhere that macDonalds were to be made to make there doors to a certain width...on a slim and go basis .
It's not chemist's who should be doing it. I was thinking today that how come people at Greggs or KFC don't serve chubbers the same way pub landlords give it 'Nah lad, thas had enough, on yer way.'
I do feel sorry when I see people whose weight means they are waddling their way to a mobility scooter.. and nobody is "allowed" to point this out and help them stay mobile for longer by helping them with taking some of the load off their legs, through diet and other treatment.
